I thought we'd spend months in the Bay of Fonseca, hopping between El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua by dinghy. Boy was I wrong. Instead we got a few hours at a time on teeny Isla del Tigre – just enough for logo-covered pangas, local brew sampling and a sobering earful about Honduran politics.
