Sailing

Baja

On November 3, we set out from Ensenada toward La Paz, in which we arrived on November 28. These weeks featured good fishing, numerous dolphin, turtle and whale sightings, periods of no wind and way-too-much wind, and overall were quite enjoyable. We made a handful of stops down the Pacific side of Baja – our favorites being those not on the usual cruising itinerary. Turning the corner after leaving crazy Cabo and heading north again (upwind) after ~1100 miles of downwind sailing was jarring, but we tucked into a few pretty anchorages for several days languidly waiting for weather windows. We are in La Paz for December – January, possibly longer.

For this post, I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking. Enjoy. (And come visit!!)
