Desert Escape
We did it! We finally sailed out of the Sea of Cortez down the Pacific Coast of Mexico! 1300ish miles of high seas adventures with more than a few tales to tell. We're now safely parked on the Mexico/Guatemala border.

¿Qué Pasa?
One full year has passed since my last update, dear readers, but as you all know this one year has been 5 years, or 6 months, depending on the day. For months Harry has been in a mild panic over wanting to check on the boat but not feeling able to pull away from his work projects to do so. A few weeks ago, I finally said, “I’ll just go”, and last week, off I went. On July 1 I flew to Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico and rented a car to drive to the yard in Guaymas. Single-handed Adventure
Wherein Jen goes on a 5 day solo* trip from Puerto Escondido around Isla Carmen. 50+ miles, 5-25+ winds, one tough day, one chill day, and lots of confidence-building. (*Tux was onboard, but not a very useful first-mate.)

What do you guys do all day?
We just did another 2-week off-the-grid jaunt, between La Paz and Puerto Escondido (south of Loreto), along a rather isolated stretch of Baja. No phones, wifi, grocery stores, and few boats, but several islands and roughly 115 miles of gorgeous coastline. 2 weeks? 14 days?? “What do you guys do all day every day?” Well, let me tell you. 😊
